Meet Our Founder
Duncan MacDonald is an entrepreneur with a deep passion for building businesses and solving real-world problems through technology.
As the founder of Revamply, Duncan has dedicated his career to creating innovative solutions and forming meaningful partnerships that drive growth and success for everyone involved.
His journey has been shaped by hands-on experience and relentless execution. He has worked at multiple tech startups, including one backed by Google Ventures, and has started and operated a diverse range of businesses.
Duncan’s automotive expertise comes from years in the industry, having launched six vehicle acquisition centers that sourced private-party vehicles and wholesaled them through his own dedicated lane at Manheim Dallas Auction. Through this process, he facilitated thousands of private market vehicle sales to companies like CarMax, Carvana, and Hertz.
He developed two automotive tech products, CarChing and CarBotix, which were later merged and sold to a larger tech firm. His third automotive tech company, DealerBids, introduced a groundbreaking approach for dealer groups such as Lithia, AutoNation, and EchoPark to source private-party vehicles.
Currently, he is leading the development of CarConnective, a SmartCar-integrated platform that enables dealerships and service centers to stay connected with the vehicles they sell and their customers. This technology powers predictive maintenance, trade-in marketing, and enhanced customer retention. He is also building Nobli Inc., a platform revolutionizing mobile vehicle inspections and secure transactions.
Beyond the automotive and tech industries, Duncan has launched offshore call centers, operated a cosmetic brand with retail locations, brokered private jets, and turned a fast-food burger concept into a multi-store franchise. Each venture has provided invaluable lessons, further fueling his passion for creating value-driven businesses.
At his core, Duncan believes in the power of collaboration and innovation to solve problems and create opportunities. His journey reflects a commitment to building businesses that make a difference, and Revamply stands as a testament to that vision.
